Hutchinson Consulting Estate Bottled Olive Oil and Nicholson Ranch Pinot Noir

| In 1997 Lori and Bill Hutchinson planted forty-two olive trees at their home in the Carneros region of Sonoma Valley, California. They planted four varieties from Tuscany – Leccinos, Frantoios, Maurinos and Pendolinos – all renowned for their oil. The trees flourished in the Mediterranean climate and each year produce abundant fruit which is harvested and processed at the local olive press. This package includes three bottles of this olive oil and three bottles of Nicholson Ranch's 2006 Russian River Pinot Noir. This particular Pinot Noir embodies the quintessential earthy and peaty descriptors and is not only an excellent food wine, but stands alone as an opener to a savory evening. |
